THE WILL OF GOD 1954, by Dr. Leslie D. Weatherhad, c

In this volume Dr. Weatherhead protests against the persisting idea that the will of God is an arbitrary affair which can never be understood, but must be met with humble anddevout resignation. In the first three chapters he sets forth the will of God in three aspects: intentional will, or God's original plan for our well-being; circumstantial will, or God's temporary plan in the midst of evil-dominated circumstances; and ultimate will, or God's final realization of His original plan. The last two chapters show how one may discern the will of God in his own life, and find in His will, one's peace.

Dr. Leslie Weatherhead was an early writer on the Oxford Group. His books were owned by Bill Wilson, and widely read by early members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
