Dr. Bob owned and read many of Fosdick's book, although he passed away before this book was published. Fosdick had more than a passing effect on AA. His review of the 1st Edition of the Big Book can be partially viewed on the dust jacket of the first edition. He is also mentioned on page 574 of the 3rd edition. A long time non-alcoholic friend of AA.
