"VARIETIES of RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE" by William James 
 Published by Longmans, Green, and Co.; London. This is a copy of the same book Bill W. refers to on page 28 in the chapter "There is a Solution" in the "Big Book". Supposedly, a copy of this book was originally given to Bill by Dr. Silkworth after Bill's "white light experience" at the Town's Hospital in December 1934 (see: page 14). This book is very scarce in orig printing.  It is still currently available in paperback and at many libraries.
